Hello Friends!  I hope you’ve all been enjoying your week.  We’ve been feverishly working away on that little playroom project that I told you all about a few weeks ago, and guess what?  It’s reveal day! I’m so excited to finally be able to share this project with you.  It’s been a crazyyyy couple of weeks, and I feel like the worst blogger of all time!  I’m in awe of all of the talented bloggers who manage to get up 2 or 3 posts a week.  I feel like I’ve been getting posts up pretty much at the pace of a lazy snail.  Sorry about that, and thanks for putting up with me 🙂  I swear I haven’t been being lazy!  I’m juggling a million different projects at the moment.  Ok, 3.  I’m feeling dramatic today.  But, honestly, it feels like a million!  And I’d also like to say thank you to all of you who’ve reached out to me this week with kind words and encouragement!  You’ve all made me smile and inspired me to keep at this blogging endeavor, so thank you ♥

I’ve been feeling pretty nostalgic this week – I’m not sure why.

Maybe it’s the fact that I’ve been wrapping up an adorable little playroom project, or the fact that my two oldest have been making breakfast for the family, all by themselves for the last couple of months. Whipping up scrambled eggs on the hot plate that their Oma bought them for Christmas last year, giggling and disagreeing about how much salt to put in. Hey Everyone! I have a really fun no-sew pillow cover tutorial for you today!

I wish I could take the credit for thinking up this simple little project, but I can’t. I actually came across it a couple of years ago on a blog called Organize & Decorate Everything. Let me just tell you, this is such an awesome way to change the look of your space without spending a bunch of money – particularly at the holidays – if you have a bit a fabric laying around.

In the past, I’ve made these with curtains, sheets, older wool blankets, the options are endless really. And I’ve wanted to share this with you for so long, but just haven’t had a chance to take the photos and get this post up! I can’t imagine why! It’s not like we’re busy over here or anything. *wink.* Life can just get crazy, can’t it?

Speaking of which, you should have heard how loud my house was after dinner tonight. I’m not sure how 3 kiddos can somehow sound like 23, but let me tell you, it’s possible. Hey there!  I can’t believe it’s already been almost a week since my last post!  I had every intention of having this up last weekend, but that turned out to be wishful thinking.  My mother in law is visiting from Germany right now, and we decided to do something we haven’t done with her in eight years! We went on a little getaway. Normally when she’s here, we sink into our normal, fairly humdrum routine, and before we know it, three weeks have gone by and the most exciting thing we’ve done together is grocery shop!  We decided to take the kids out of school and head up to the White Mountains in New Hampshire for a couple of days, then spend the last few in Kennebunkport, Maine.  I planned to pack Saturday night after the birthday party, write and post the birthday photos Sunday morning, and then head on our merry way.  Well, yeah.  That did not happen. If you follow my Willow Street Interiors page on Facebook, you may have read that I have a special post and a giveaway coming up this week.  Well, this is that post!  A little backstory.  World Market is one of my favorite places to shop. The place is like Disney World for grown ups.  Seriously, so much cute stuff under one roof it gives me minor heart palpitations.  I cyber stalk their website on a weekly basis drooling over their adorable accessories and really reasonably priced, good quality furniture.
