Initial Consultation

Every design project whether large in scope or narrowly focused begins with a thoughtful conversation. Whether you’re embarking on a whole home renovation journey, or would like to use this meeting as a stand alone guidance session, you will receive real, actionable guidance for your project at this meeting.

During this two-hour, in home design conversation, Laura will walk your space with you to understand how you live, what’s working, what isn’t, and where you’d like to go. This time is used to clarify priorities, explore possibilities, and establish a strong design direction, either as a foundation for a larger project or as a focused, standalone guidance session for you to implement at your own pace.

An initial consultation may include guidance on:

Overall design direction and aesthetic vision
Paint color selection (interior and/or exterior)
Furniture layout and flow for existing spaces
Drapery and window treatment direction
Lighting needs and opportunities
Furniture style, scale, and proportion
Resolving a specific design challenge or decision point

You’ll leave the consultation with clear ideas, professional perspective, and confident next steps—whether you choose to move forward independently or to continue working together.
